Patrick Bateman said it best:
"Their early work was a little too new wave for my tastes, but when Sports came out in '83 I think they really came into their own, commercial and artistically. The whole album has a clear, crisp sound, and a new sheen of consummate professionalism that really gives the songs a big boost. He's been compared to Elvis Costello, but I think Huey has a far much more bitter, cynical sense of humor."

I think my head is going to explode. Just because Sports came out the same year (roughly) as Elvis Costello's worst album does NOT mean that the two artists should be compared in any way. I like the Back to the Future soundtrack as much as anyone, but, uh, no. No, no, no.
This is frying my brain something fierce.
Right as Patrick Bateman takes an axe to Paul Allen's head. Is this supposed to be ironic?
I guess I'm the only person on Earth who's never seen American Psycho.
Don't worry I just saw it several months ago for the first then second and third time.
I too, have not seen American Psycho.
American Psycho is way better than Huey Lewis and the News. I can't believe you guys haven't seen that.
