For those of you who don't know, Dirty Harry was a movie in the 70s about a cop who was sick of all the dagblasted rules and rights those no good lousy suspects got, and would freely shoot anybody or beat anybody up and then get yelled at by his superior officer. The morality of the series is definitely hazy, but one thing that is not hazy is the asskickingness of the series. This is the fifth Dirty Harry movie, though, and by now Clint Eastwood is a little bit older (well, a lot bit older), and all the cliches are a little worn thin. The plot involves celebrities who keep getting murdered, and how they're all on this one dude's "dead pool" list, and also Harry gets a "Chinese-American" sidekick to make the department look good but luckily since he's Chinese he knows karate so Harry is ok with that. Anyway, it's a pretty forgettable movie except for a really great tense car chase involving a remote control car with a bomb attached to it, no joke.RATING: 47%
