#80 on Glenn's Top 100 Movie List

Well, a lot of people spend a lot of time trying to figure out what the hell is going on in this fucking movie. The answer to me is I don't care about the story. It's just a tonal nightmare, filled with a lot of terrifying images that add up to an oppressive behemoth of a movie. Shouldn't that be the goal of a horror movie? I mean, it's way scarier than Halloween to me. The movie, not the holiday.
