Bats are a pretty cool animal that can turn into Dracula or strike fear in the heart of criminals if you dress up as one. Also, they inspired Batman's worst villain, Man-bat. I'm not joking. They are especially cool if you happen to be in Austin and want to see 1.5 million at once fly out from under the South Congress bridge at dusk, which they do every day. I always thought it was just some big deal about nothing, but then I went this weekend and it was a fuckload of bats. That's what you call a bunch of bats. Gaggle of geese, flock of seagulls, fuckload of bats. You might just have to take my word for it that all those black dots in the picture are bats, although if you click it it does make it bigger she said.

That's a cool picture except it doesn't give you the entire picture of how many there were. There really were a fuckload of bats.
Bats have been dying in huge numbers in the Northeast. This makes me really nervous especially since the bees are dying too. Bad, bad, bad.

I've heard about the bees. It's been happening for a while, no?
It's ironic, because Bat(men)s and Bees have never gotten along.
