Arabs

Arabs are pretty awesome, what can I say buddy? In general, we're a kind and generous people my main man. Sometimes a few Arabs go crazy and make everybody suspicious and angry, but that basically happens for every other people everywhere too (except white people). I hope that by writing a positive review of Arabs this blog doesn't get banned in Switzerland, but I didn't want any of their Nazi gold anyway.

Blog Supergroup

This was a pretentiously named blog I started three years ago that had a bunch of other posters. We would blog about a specific topic every week. It was a good idea at first, but everybody else wanted to pick smart, thoughtful, political topics, and I wanted to spend the least amount of time and energy possible writing my entries. BAM.

$30

$30 is a good amount of $. You can buy like three movie tickets at the new movie theater with it, or maybe like ten movie tickets at the dollar theater (how does that work, anyway?). If you have $30 in a town like Houston that basically means you can eat for a week, or maybe have one really nice meal with drinks. $30 is a good amount to be paid for a poem I guess, but it's nothing like the time I got paid $100, which in retrospect is probably where I peaked oh well.

Our Readers

Sometimes we may be a little crass and perhaps automatically assault any new reader we get or accuse them of not being real, but in all honesty what would would R3 be without all of you? Now please tell your friends so we can get a goddamn book deal already.

What Is Not To Love by Imperial Teen

Imperial Teen's first album, Seasick, is one of my all time favorites, so of course there is built in disappointment for all three of their followups. They get progressively worse, so since this is their second album, it is also their second strongest. They had a minor hit off of it, Yoo Hoo, which I don't care for, but the first two songs on the album are great. Poppy harmonies, cynicism galore, and tips to Oscar Wilde - am I talking about my life or this CD?

1000

1000 is a number that I probably would lose patience if I had to count to. If I had $1000 that would be pretty sweet, but if I got a ticket for $1000 I bet I would run away from the cops. The Roman numeral for 1000 is "M," but you can also use the letters "K" and "G" to represent it. One time we all said it was the Millennium and got scared, but really it was like the beginning of the third millennium since year zero CE so who cares Mathman. Anyway, it's nice to get to post 1000 on a blog if you have one, but the downside is there's not really another milestone for 4000 more posts so get cracking.

RATING: 1000% duh.

PS - Maybe in the comments you all could link back to some of your favorite reviews from the past year. Kind of like a retrospective except I don't have to do any of the work.

Being All Tired and Shit

No one likes being all tired and shit. Like when you stay up all night drinking with Russian figure skaters, and then go to an NHL game, and then write, like, a 25 page paper in 2 days, and then you stay up until the wee hours of the morning watching Dexter online for a bunch of days in a row, and all of the sudden it's 11:50 on Thursday night and you're not in bed, you're writing a shitty self-indulgent post on your friends' blog like people actually care how you waste your stupid time. I guess it beats eating peanuts and crying while sitting in a bathtub full of cold water. I don't know if anyone's ever really done that but it's fucking pathetic.
