The Twenty-sixth Amendment

The Twenty-sixth Amendment was an ok amendment because it standardized the voting age to 18 in the entire country. It was ratified in 1972, and I guess some people were upset because a dude could be drafted to fight commies but in his state he might not be able to vote for three years, hence the old protest song line "Old enough to kill, but not to vote" or some such nonsense. Anyway, I guess the argument against this was that an 18 year old wouldn't know enough to vote anyway, which is total bullshit because a) they don't vote even now that they have the right, and b) nobody knows enough to vote. I mean, my little illustration there could be anybody from age 15 to 95 in America, and that ain't just because I'm no Picasso. In conclusion, I guess this is a good amendment if you can vote, but I can't so fuck this one.

Mine are:

#5 - Repeal of Prohibition (21)
#4 - Free speech/etc. (1)
#3 - Women's suffrage (19)
#2 - Abolition of slavery (13)
#1 - Just because it's not protected in the Constitution, doesn't mean that it's not a right. (9 - criminally underrated)
