Radishes

Radishes are ok vegetables, but I think they get lost in the avalanche of all the better root vegetables out there. They don't have much versatility, and are pretty much best raw, but a radish is a tasty thing to eat in a salad or chopped up beside a sandwich. If you tell people you like radishes they'll probably look at you like you're a murderbot (robot designed specifically for murdering). Don't worry though, radishes are totally worth it.

Fantastic Pepper Salsa Recipe

3 red or yellow peppers, cored and chopped (you can use green too, but they have a bitterer taste)
1 habanero pepper, cored and chopped
1 red onion
2-3 cloves garlic
Juice from 2 limes
A bunch of honey (add to taste--about 3-5 tbsp, or more if you wanna go tight out)
2 capfuls apple cider vinegar (about 3/4 tsp)
About 2 tbsp fresh cilantro, chopped

Chop it all up, and then chop it up more in the food processor. Do a good job, because the last thing you want is a fingernail-sized chunk of habanero stuck in the back of your throat. There are no tomatoes in this salsa--the original recipe called for them, but one time I forgot and it was a lot better. There's also about twice as much cilantro as the original recipe specifies. You have to stir it well, because the lime juice and vinegar tend to separate from the vegetable mush, but it's totally worth it. Just don't eat it right before you go out on a date, or the day before you go out on a date, or maybe if you ever plan on going out on a date again.

Doen jang chi gae

Made with vegetables (as you can see from the photo, it's got some peppers in it), tofu and stanky fermented bean paste, doen jang chi gae burns your face and smells like a jalepeño yeast infection. In other words, it's absolutely amazing.

The Vegetable Sandwiches I've Been Making For The Past Few Days

These sandwiches have been pretty good, but as you can tell there's probably too much going on on them. I was eating the vegetable sandwiches from Target, but then I realized that even though they were cheap, there were distinct problems with them and I could probably make my own sandwiches for cheaper. But I didn't make a plan, and bought a bunch of vegetables at once, and since I was paranoid about them all going bad, I just put them all on the sandwich. It has provolone (from the provolone tree), mushrooms, spinach, tomatoes, cucumbers, alfalfa sprouts, and guacamole. Next time I think I'll just pick three vegetables and go with that, but it was still delicious.
