Event Horizon

This movie has a great premise (spaceship goes to Hell), and looks great, but I dunno, the execution makes it really boring and not scary. Many of my friends tell me how terrifying the movie is, but I'm willing to bet it's only scary because they last saw it as a child, sorta like that one Herbie movie with the nightmare is scary to me now as an adult.  Anyway, there is a cool scene where somebody briefly survives being shot out an airlock, which oughtta count for something?

Riker gets sucked into a brain dream where he's in a play about a deranged killer but also he is the killer and he was never ever Riker for the past six seasons if that makes any sense.

Terrifically over the top episode where a madman can take the shape of whomever, so of course Kirk must fight himself.

Kirk decides a peaceful society doesn't have the right kind of freedom so he kills their computer leader, destabilizing their whole culture, and then he peaces out.

Moon

Moon is a pretty good movie in the subgenre I just made up called "Space Crazy Movies." Those are movies that take place in space (or deep in the ocean, like The Abyss), and feature one or more characters going crazy OR ARE THEY? Also, like 2001, Sunshine, Solaris, and RocketMan starring Harlan Williams. The plot is Sam Rockwell is mining for moon rocks alone and then starts going crazy OR DOES HE?
