You probably think of a candle as a source of light or maybe heat, but it's also symbolic of the American Dream. Our forefathers used candles made of tallow to light the room as they penned important documents like the Declaration of Independence and the Constitution. But for me, candles conjure images of the Emancipation Proclamation, 19th century classical music, sex and Chinese food. These days candles are used for religious purposes and other shit.
