#66 on Glenn's Top 100 Movie ListAs a former trumpet player (and when I saw this for the first time I still thought I would always play) I think this movie is a great jazz/gangster movie. I am not a former gangster, though, so what do I know, since apparently it was a huge box office flop. Well, they can't all be winners.

I never saw the movie, but I still have that trumpet that my parents bought at Mr. Foley's instigation. DO you still have yours?
That trumpet's at my parents' place I think. All the slides corroded so it was full of leaks. I have a much better trumpet here in my apartment, but that doesn't really matter much since I don't ever play it.
