Dark Humor
Saying something like, "I suppose we'll be seeing Patrick Swayze in Ghost 2 pretty soon," might make people uncomfortable. But, wait! I'm using dark humor here, so it's okay.

I think you're racist against ghosts. Have I ever told you I love you?
"Ditto." (From Ghost 1).
The photo really makes it work.
Thank you, Belabras. I teach that photo in lit classes. Well, not teach it, but we examine it and use it as a lead-in.
I wish they actually showed Demi Moore and Whoopi Goldberg making out. That would have been hott.
I don't really believe the picture, because on the other side of that ledge I'm pretty sure there's a safety net called the Equivocal Narrative Frame.
Do you teach that to your students?
Ahahaha "ditto."
I didn't realize that was a ledge. I thought it was the world's biggest hopscotch on a beach.
By definition all the humor I use is dark humor.

Equivocal Narrative Frame is covered in section two, along with Reasons Not to Read and Who Need Poetry When You've Got a Bank Account?
