I don't know what to say about this movie. I mean, I guess it was funny, but aren't all weed movies basically the same? Like a big long tough journey for the stoner main characters while the audience laughs knowingly because they too smoke/have smoked the ganja before, and by laughing at the movie they show they are rebellion against the establishment, man. Oh well, James Franco is funny the end.

Homegrown, with Hank Azaria, Billy Bob Thorton, John Lithgow and Ryan "Fuckface" Phillipe is basically the only weed movie I can stand to watch from beginning to end. It's different, in that it's kind of serious while still being funny, and it's actually about the marijuana industry instead of just a bunch of retards getting high.
Of course, you probably hate it. Or you would, if you haven't seen it yet.
P.S. I think you lit your joint from the wrong end. Or maybe that's just how you guys roll down in Houston.
Well, that's how we MSPaint down in Houston, anyway. I'll add Homegrown to my never ending Netflix queue. At this rate, I'll get it in the mail in approximately six years.
It's no "Weed Time" by Glenn Shaheen.
True or False: "Weed Time" > "Pineapple Express"
TRUE!
True, primarily because I'm in it. And no, I don't need to do something silly like see Pineapple Express to verify this.
My roles in Glenn's movies are, at best, terrible...and at worst, awesome.
