Being shy is good if you don't like people. But the ironic thing is, most shy people like people too much, and not themselves enough or at least not equal to how much they like the other person, hence the feeling of powerlessness and social retardation perhaps. Being shy is cute though sometimes, as witnessed by the picture, but it's wasted a lot of my time.
