This is a great album from a band that eventually deteriorated into a joke. There's a lot of anti-war songs on this album, obviously, but it doesn't feel didactic - it actually feels driven by emotional need. Also, the drums are fucking pumped up, and it's a good album to run to.

Okay. I stole this album from my parents' record collection, so I have this on vinyl as well. And it's not warped! Thus, I have properly listened to it on numerous occasions, and it is one of my favorites by U2. I even like it better than (dare I say it!) The Joshua Tree.
PS--It was also pretty cool that the bus driver played "Sunday Bloody Sunday" on the stereo as we were coming into Derry/Londonderry.
