I have to admit that this movie was better than I thought it would be, although I wish that it was a lot more vicious to the titular mean girls rather than trying to make everybody feel happy in the end. Anyway, the plot is Lindsay Lohan signs up to do a movie, but unknown to her it will be the high point of her career. Just kidding, but everybody knows the plot to this movie. Good to see Tim Meadows getting steady work.

I liked the scene near the beginning when she walks into the cafeteria and sees all the different subcultures. It's too bad Lyndsey Lohan is dead inside
I actually was surprised by this movie as well. It took a lot of convincing from my friends here in Oxford to get me to watch, but once I did, I really enjoyed--although I do agree the ending was a little too saccharine-like.
Maybe now I'll have to listen to my friend Erin about the greatness of Buffy...Maybe.

I forgot to tell you that while my cousin was at Malvern (where this was filmed), the school ushered the girls into the gym to try to get them to cool down their feud with girls at a rival school. And they sounded at LOT meaner than the mean girls in this film.
I like that LiLo wears pants in this movie. She never freaking wears actual pants anymore. Always with the damn leggings instead. Other than that I really don't remember the movie very well, but I'm pretty sure I did laugh throughout.
Well, her career's over. What can she do about it, anyway?
