Bon Iver: For Emma, Forever Ago


A friend of mine recommended this last night and it is by far the best album I've downloaded purchased lawfully since Burial's Untrue (which is also awesome for different reasons). It's kind of a folk-y ambient, layered cinnamon roll of musical awesomeness. Beautiful, soulful, lonely, addictive. All that stuff. Everyone should go buy it now. RIGHT NOW. GO. NOW.

It has been a year now and I'm still listening to this. So it probably deserves a MUCH higher rating. Somewhere in the 90s.
