Drag Me To Hell

PG-13 rating and still the best horror movie you've seen in a while. I love Sam Raimi. But I haven't seen Spider-Man 3, yet. And I think The Gift is forgivable. How many good-to-great movies have you directed?

RATING: 85%

It really was quite good, wasn't it?

I'll lend you Spiderman 3 sometime, if you like.

Unfortunately Spider-Man 3 is awful.

How am I supposed to know which movies are bad when we've got Chris running around giving them all 80%? I don't have that kind of time. Fuck.

John, I saw Transformers 2 and Diary of the Dead this past weekend.

Those both deserved a 10% or lower rating. Now I've saved you some time.

Hey PS - I'm sorta without internet now. A Month of Boring Things will most likely become A Month's Worth of Boring Things Spread Out Over the Next Fiscal Year.

And no, I don't feel bad about that. You got to read the fine print, motherfuckers.

This movie was a cheap rip-off of the Japanese classic, "Ringu," except that it was shortened to three days.

Sam would have made a better movie if he had shown someone "escaping from hell" like he did back in his "Xena" days with the episode, "Fallen Angel." And who didn't see the mix up with the envelope coming a mile away--that's 1.61 kilometers for you Canucks.

My favorite Sam Raimi film is probably still Darkman.

Belabras said...

Bah, Army of Darkness was his opus. Nothing else comes close.

I think of Darkman every time I clip a cigar, and every time someone tells me, "Take the fucking elephant!"

If anyone ever begins a sentence with "That would be...", my wife and I almost always, without fail, finish it with "JUST FINE" followed by maniacal laughter.
