ReplyDeleteNot exactly. I had the phrase "Dog and Pony show" stuck in my head, and then when I googled it I was amazed at how many pictures of dogs and ponies there actually were.
ReplyDeleteHearne's dead, alas, but if she were alive I suspect she might be less than overwhelmed by the level of insight and maturity expressed in this particular post.
